SECTION 504 AND IEP assistance for your adhd student

You've realized that your ADHD child needs help in school. But what kind of help? Accommodations? Modifications? What is the difference between those anyway?? There are so many documents to sign, meetings to attend, hurdles to jump over. My time in the classroom will allow me to help you get your child the right kind of assistance to help them succeed!

Individual education plan, Business concept, IEP 504 program, copy space, Text on natural

ADHD is not a learning disability. However, if your child has ADHD or executive function difficulties, they could struggle in the classroom. Organization, focus, procrastination - all of these, and more, can impact your child's performance in school. This, in turn, can cause lowered self esteem, difficulty with peers, perfectionism, school avoidance - the list goes on and on. However, accommodations in a Section 504 plan, or modifications in an IEP, can level the playing field for your child, making it possible to thrive. Knowing what to ask for, and how to do so, is half the battle. Allow me to partner with you during this process, so that your child can soar!
